Split elk antlers are cut down the middle to expose the marrow which contain a great healthy source of calcium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. Elk have the largest marrow core of any antler giving your dog the most flavor for the money. Elk antlers have virtually no odor or residue to get on your carpet or furniture. Split elk antlers are great for puppies, older dogs or dogs that are new to chewing antlers. Both split and whole antlers are some of the best chews for the money as they can last your dog weeks if not months until it is gone.
Antlers are a 100% natural chews that are shed by wild elk every March and April. All of our antlers are sourced from Colorado and the neighboring Western states and are grade A quality. Grade A premium antlers will not typically chip or splinter when they are being chewed unlike processed bones, or other lesser quality box store antler chews. We never purchase from elk farms which are sometimes fed growth hormones, antibiotics, and other chemicals to increase their growth.
Antlers are an annually renewable resource so you can feel good knowing your antler chews come from Nature, and in the way Nature intended it. These mineral-rich chews will outlast any other chew on the market.
How to use Elk Antlers
Always supervise your dog when giving antler treats. Discard the remaining antler when it gets to the point that it could possibly be swallowed. If long term storage is needed, we recommend storing your Elk antler chews in the freezer to retain freshness.
